Yesterday marked a proud and emotional moment for all of us at the Assuafah Foundation. We gathered to see off one of our brightest young talents Yasmin Mohammed as she embarked on a life-changing journey to Russia. Yasmin is one of only 10 young women worldwide, aged 18 to 22, selected for an elite two year hands on scholarship that will see her train and grow while earning at least $500/month throughout the program.

This is not just a scholarship it’s an investment in leadership, excellence, and resilience. Yasmin’s achievement is a reminder of the core belief that drives our work at the Assuafah Foundation: When young people are given the opportunity, they rise.
